Climbing goats in Morocco
Goats climbed on trees, you can see only in Morocco. Goats climb on trees as like to eat the fruit of the argan tree, which is similar to olive. Farmers follow goats from tree to tree.
And this is not because it is a strange phenomenon to see a goat on wood, but because fruits have a kernel that animals cannot digest and spit it out or removed and the farmers collect it. The nut contains 1-3 seeds from which can be made argan oil, which was used in cooking and cosmetics.
This oil comes from the people in the region for thousands of years, but like most natural and useful things these days, the argan tree is slowly disappearing because logging is wood or eaten by goats. For this reason a group of people and organizations are joining forces in an attempt to preserve this kind of wood. For this purpose, one of the main places where trees grow, was declared a biosphere reserve.
It was decided that if oil gain prominence because of the wonderful taste and rejuvenating ingredients it contains, will increase commercial interests. But people were not excited to food or smear your face with a product derived from the excrement of goats. The company therefore banned the grazing of goats on trees in a certain period to allow the fruit to fall freely and then to collect oil. So far, this measure seems to work.
