Alan Ball’s Six Feet Under is a show that takes great advantage of the collective obsession that humankind has about death. The show is about a family of two sons who inherit their father’s funeral home business after his unexpected death.
It also focusses on their sister, mother and how death ultimately touches all of them. There is a death at the beginning of every episode which becomes the focus of the episode, mostly by the way they arrive at the funeral home.
This show is definitely not for the faint hearted. It is one the most thought-provoking TV shows ever made.
