Alexander Graham Bell is a North American scientist, inventor and businessman of a Scottish origin, founder of telephony, founder of Bell Telephone Company, predestined all further development of telecommunications in the United States of America and elsewhere in the world.
Alexander Graham Bell was born on March 3, 1847 in the city of Edinburgh, Scotland. He later added the name Graham as a tribute to a friend of his family – the Canadian Alexander Graham. Several relatives of Bell, in particular his grandfather, father and uncle were professional orators. The father of the future inventor even published a treatise dedicated to the rhetoric.
