Franck Muller the Aeternitas Mega 4 – $2,400,000
With 99 jewels and a whopping 1483 clock components can proudly be presented as the most complicated watch in the world.
After five years development time Franck Muller proved with this incredible, in 2009 finished Grande Complication once again, that he deserves to be called “Master of Complications”, and rightly so. The most complicated wristwatch of the world at that time has 36 complications (25 of them visible), a secular perpetual calendar for 1,000 years, and the movement consists, believe it or not, of 1,483 components.
The housing has the three-dimensional incurvated form “Cintrée Curvex”, well known from Franck Muller.
